Charles Soule is a #1 New York Times-best-selling novelist and comic book writer. He is credited with the creation of various Star Wars comics and a founding architect of Star Wars: The High Republic, along with other comics such as Curse Words and Eight Billion Genies. I was trusted to create official graphic design material for some of his creator-owned IPs.
Below are promo materials I created for Charles’ novel STAR WARS: TRIALS OF THE JEDI which were shipped as preorder bonuses, while closely following a style guide provided to me by LucasFilm. This includes concept art postcards and lightsaber pins.
I was tasked to expand on a preexisting style of the Curse Words comic series to create brand assets for a vinyl record Kickstarter campaign. I designed striking graphics such as banner images and social media assets, along with a series of 80s style grunge posters for a live tour that Charles performed.
A Kickstarter campaign where I adapted to an art style while working with pre-existing assets. I aimed to keep everything visually cohesive. I mostly worked on graphics for the Kickstarter’s various reward tiers.
