Media Mobilize is an ad network with many connections to publications and brands. My role focused on the creation of advertisements and newsletters, focusing both on the design of newsletters themselves and how the ad placement would be best laid out within them. I learned the ins and outs of various ESPs including Sailthru, Mailchimp, and Beehiiv. Adapting to the limitations of their template builders.
A printed Valentine’s Day-themed pamphlet mailed to households in various major cities. It showcases multiple brands my company had the privilege of working with including BrightCellars, Nuts.com, Curiosity Stream, Revtown, Thursday Boots, Ridge Wallet, Verb Energy, and Manscaped. I was trusted with typesetting the content and staying consistent within each company's brand guidelines.
I helped design various native ad placements for Media Mobilize’s newsletter publications. We focused on creating high-quality ads which blend well within the content, and don’t disrupt the reader's experience. Media Mobilize handled the brand's assets acting as a bridge to publications. They also would ensure each brand was placed in the most relevant context possible.
I played a role in the process of developing clear guidelines for many large publications. These outlined best practices for integration across native, dedicated, and text-only placements. We requested tailor-made assets from the brands to be used natively in each newsletter.
I also worked closely with external publications and created mockups to help their teams visualize how ads would be displayed within their newsletters before integration. This was a valuable step in ensuring advertisements came out as desired. I had the opportunity to design placements for major news publications such as CNN, MSNBC, and huffpost.
I worked with various brands to create bespoke advertisements for them including Kiss and imPRESS, two leading cosmetics companies. I worked with their design team to create advertisements that specifically matched their brand style guides and were approved by their team.
